3 Illumitated Wonderlands

Sherbrooke is particularly magical in winter, with many its illuminations showcasing its beautiful public spaces. If you are looking for something to do before curfew this year, why not visit one of the three amazing locations?

Domaine Howard Skating Rink

The enchanting Domaine Howard features a beautiful natural pond that transforms into an ice rink during winter. After the sun sets, visitors can skate through a kaleidoscope of colours. A magical place to visit all winter long (until things start warming up).

Please note that the ice rink is open until 7:30 p.m. and that there is a maximum number of skaters allowed based on public health regulations.

The Magog River Gorge Rapids Trail

Whether in summer and winter, the Magog River Gorge Rapids Trail is an amazing place for an urban walk. With its walkways overlooking the dam, its landscaped trails and its observation lookouts, the trail lets you admire exceptional panoramic views of Sherbrooke. But winter walks are exceptional, as light projections reflect off the snow and ice near the dam on Wellington Nord bring the frosty scene to life!

Montcalm Bridge

The already captivating Lac-des-Nations Boardwalk has added a new illuminated sector under the Montcalm Bridge. Park at La Gare de Sherbrooke, head to the boardwalk and watch the moving lights under the bridge. Or head over to the pedestrian bridge for an even better view!
