Parcours Photo Sherbrooke
OUR WORLD: ITS ENVIRONMENT
September 2019 to April 2020
For the 2019 Fall/Winter edition, a selection of photographs based on the theme OUR WORLD: ITS ENVIRONMENT presents the work of four internationally renowned professional artists - Mario Cyr, Claude Guérin, François Lafrance and Jean-François Lemire – and includes 10 photos from the Club Photo Sherbrooke selected by a jury. The theme was approached from different angles: green and engaged, but also contemplative and poetic. It allows photographers to take a closer look at individuals, human activity or the landscape that inspires them.FIGÉ DANS LE QUOTIDIEN
February 14 to September 1, 2019
On the subject of press photography, this exhibition of the Parcours Photo presents the work of six photographers who publish their photographs in the daily newspaper La Tribune. They selected 33 images representing the diversity of their professional reality. Sometimes in the heart of the action, other times in front of the drama, by their eyes, these photographers stage the news.
Stéphanie Vallières, Michelle Boulay, André Vuillemin, Jessica Garneau, René Marquis and Maxime Picard, members of Specter Media, have developed the art of capturing the moment. They reveal some of their best shots around four classic themes found in journalism: sports, news, arts and daily life.
From September 1, 2018 to January 31, 2019
On the theme "Our world", the 2018 autumn edition focuses on the diversity of perspectives through the work of artists Arlette Vittecoq, Luc Lemay, Sandra Lachance, Guylain Doyle and Yannis Davy Guibinga. The photos of five members of the Sherbrooke Photo Club complete the Parcours Photo Sherbrooke exhibition.
