Sherbrooke, Land of Fresco Murals
The 4 km historical journey starts at the Tourist information Bureau, at the corner of rue King Ouest and rue Richmond. From this point, you are guided toward the tremendous wall paintings that transform downtown Sherbrooke’s walls into an outdoor museum. From wall to wall, art, history and culture blend together to let you discover the life of our ancestors through this tribute to many Sherbrooke families, well known figures of the various parts of town and to the shop owners who helped shape the city.
Fun the whole family!
Children should keep an eye out for the leprechaun hidden on each mural, count how many animals are concealed in the mural on rue Frontenac and find the many ladybugs in the mural on rue Alexandre! Pleasure guaranteed for both adults and children!
