The Saint-Françoispath (29 km) follows the Saint-François River from the borough of Lennoxville (junction of the Massawipi path) to the limits of the borough of Brompton (junction of the Val Saint-François cycling network). Part of the Route Verte and the TransCanada Trail, it also passes through Sherbrooke’s city centre, offering cyclists the opportunity to discover Sherbrooke’s rich cultural and heritage sights and activities, lodging, restaurants and shops.
From the starting point in the borough of Lennoxville, cyclists can make a stop a few kilometres later at the Atto-Beaver Park where picnic areas, bathrooms and a drinking fountain are available. Continuing its route toward the borough of Brompton, cyclists will also cross the Île-Marie camping site, Sherbrooke’s city centre and the unique fauna and flora of the Marais Réal-D. Carbonneau (Réal-D. Carbonneau Marsh).
