Housed in a Neo-Georgian residence built in 1862, the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre is a non-profit organisation devoted to the preservation, the support and the diffusion of the cultural and heritage traditions of the Eastern Townships. The warm and inviting atmosphere is witness to the lifestyle of our ancestors. Five rooms have been decorated with antiques from the Sherbrooke Historical Society’s collection and the Lennoville-Ascot museum’s collection. The Centre sits on a 4 acres site and is surrounded by gardens and forest.

Enjoy an afternoon tea in the purest of British traditions either inside or in the garden. On the menu: tea, scones, pastries, cucumber sandwiches, jam, Devonshire cream and much more. Simply delicious!

Eleven months a year, the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre presents exhibits starring works from both local and regional artists as well as concerts and art workshops.
