On its different sites and during activities, Destination Sherbrooke recruits short-term volunteers who are ready to help ensure the success of activities run by the organisation.
Become a Volunteer Bike Patroller
Destination Sherbrooke is looking for active members to become volunteer bike patrollers. These individuals patrol the Grandes-Fourche bike network throughout each season.
In addition to practicing their favourite sport, the volunteer patrollers assist and direct bikers throughout the Sherbrooke bike network.
Do you like to bike? Are you people-friendly and are concerned about biker safety in and around Sherbrooke? Become a volunteer bike patroller!
To get involved:
- You need to be ready to provide 3 hours of volunteer time per week
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have a bike and helmet
- You have a cellular phone
Additionally, three preparation training sessions are offered to volunteers to train them in first aid, bike mechanics and tourist information. The volunteers selected must courteous, be interested in physical activity and show responsibility towards their community.
